red will make your skin look whiter and so would a dark brown
maybe try a dirty blonde? or a light red to its not stand-outish

Do an auburn color on dark brown hair, my hair was origanally brown and I died it blond to. Today I just got auburn over chocolate colored hair, it looks really nice. I think that you should do a red.

Ask your hair stylish. Paul Mitchell is the only color I would ever use on my hair. You should not buy hair color at the grocery store or drug store. Only a licensed hair dresser can apply the product properly.
