Need help with hair for costume...?

Okay I want to be frost from mortal kombat.. I can make the rest of the costume but I have a question about the hair... Does anyone know of any good stuff to spike hair and keep it up? Frosts hair is icey blue and it like spiked up.. I was going to buy a wig and spike it but I don't have a clue what to get to do so.. Anyone have any experience with anything like this? Thanks!

There is stuff that you can get from the salon. I forget the name but it's like hardcore gel and comes in colors. I think it might be called ice or something like that.

you will need lots of hair spray, and a blowdryer!! there is this product made by the company of "bed hair", i think is punked out, I hope you find it

ICE Spiker from Joico comes in a variety of colors and is also virtually waterproof. Hard hold and adds color. Some salons carry or you can always ask your regular hairstylist if she can get it for you.

First, do NOT get a wig. They never turn out like you want it: I once got an Elvis wig and I did all the directions right but it looked like a mushroom at the end and I wasted $15. You want to go to any convenient store ex. rite aid, shop rite, etc. and get a hair gel that says "extra hold/stenght". Also buy some light blue hair dye, they sell them pretty much anywhere, but I know they sell both these things at shoprite. Nice costume, by the way!
